Maria Baricsa, originally from London, England, is a painter living and working in Vancouver, Canada. She has technical training in experimental arts from OCADU in Toronto. Her non-narrative abstract works explore space and the medium at hand, allowing the paint itself to guide a dream-like, meditative adventure. Maria’s works have been shown in galleries internationally and are held in private and corporate collections in Canada, the US and Great Britain. Her works have also been featured in over thirty movies and television productions, such as Tim Burton’s Big Eyes. She has worked in collaboration with Farmboy since 2015.
